Polite staff, had very lovely stay!!!
Cheerful hotel in an incredible location, has lovely views over the bay and towards the castle. Plenty of food available in the restaurant. The suite is warm and has central heating, coffee/tea making machines and a TV set. The location is best possible and impressive, 10 minutes' walk to a landscaped park.

We enjoyed a very pleasant warm spacious second floor family room with a simply stunning seaview over Scarborough's North Bay. The hotels location was excellent. Tip: Book your car parking at the hotel in advance, spaces are limited. A space will be reserved for your whole stay...NB extra cost.
The waiting staff in the restaurant were slow monosyllabic automotons, and were bordering on rude when asked the simplest requests. The bar, reception and room service staff were the exception and very kind and helpful.

The views and location and excellent. We only needed overnight stay as a group and you were able to accommodate us all at a very reasonable price
Hotel needs a re-vamp re carpets and decor - especially third floor

This place suits me perfectly! It has wonderful amenities like free wi-fi, a 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar area. The staff once helped me find a local delivery, which I appreciated. I'm coming back for Easter!

The room we were moved to after complaining about the original room we had been given was more than satisfactory. It was clean, well-decorated and spacious. The hotel bars were comfortable and welcoming, and the breakfast service was very quick.
When we saw the first room we were given, we were horrified. The paint was peeling from the ceiling, there was an ancient T.V. (but no remote control), the room was small, gloomy, but worst of all the bedding was stained. We decided we could not sleep in the room, and contacted reception, who allocated us another room within ten minutes. The new room was entirely different-it was spacious, cheerful and looked as if it had recently been re-furbished. As it had a sea view, we paid an extra 20 pounds for the two nights, and we really enjoyed our stay.

hotel is in a good location and it was clean.
the decor is dated, the lift is tiny and noisy, the prices for breakfast and evening meal are expensive. the room was not refreshed during our stay.

The sea view from the bedroom was beautiful.
How the mirror was behind the television, made it hard to get ready infront of the mirror.

Stayed for 1 night n it was amazin! Room was super clean with a comfy bed n a fridge. It had a pod coffee machine which was a nice touch. The staff were really friendly n the hotel was in a good spot near attractions. Also loved the hospitality tray provided.
Had some trouble with parking since the streets were packed due to events.

Really lovely bedroom. Great location, 10 minutes' walk to town centre but nice and quiet. Nice breakfast room, not overcrowded like some hotels. Staff friendly and pleasant. Pretty much everything you need, really.
The world's slowest toasters. But seriously, this is the only (tiny) thing I could find wrong with the place.

I liked the peaceful location of the hotel, and the friendliness of all the staff. We had a lovely comfortable room where you also had a part sea view.
There was nothing i didn't like about the Hotel, the decor in the hallways was a bit tatty but hay i wasn't there for an interior design make-over. The room was clean, bright and very welcoming.
